Radiant skin at Aayna Clinic

Radiant skin that is healthy from the inside out is highly sought after by girls of all age groups. Beauty magazines have led us to believe that its hard to get glowing skin without breaking the bank and yet, all of us have different tricks we swear by. Some of us train hard, sweat often, eat clean and hit the steam to unclog those pores. While others, have expensive night regimens that involve a strict protocol with expensive creams. While, I strongly believe that there is no substitute for a consistent workout regimen, a good daily CTM (cleanse, tone, moisturise) routine and a healthy diet; Aayna Clinic has a few treatments that come highly recommended.

The Aayna Miracle is the newest treatment to have been introduced by the clinic and it should be noted that it is also the first of its kind in india. The treatment uses micro- channeling along with suction (similar to what we experienced in the hydra facial) to infuse serums that yield fantastic results. Read about my experience on the hydrafacial here. There are several serums for brightening, anti ageing, hydrating and anti acne and the therapist determines which one you should use post a skin consultation.

The treatment is particularly effective at treating problems such as acne, open pores, sun damage, excess sebum production, hyper pigmentation and wrinkles. I know you must wonder how micro channeling doesn’t hurt considering they use tiny needles for the treatment. Well, the treatment is done in conjunction with the use of suction to gently pull the skin to make the experience more pleasant and relatively pain free.

Aayna Clinic employs the highest safety and hygiene standards in all their practices and you can be sure to waltz straight out of the door to a party post your treatment. There is no need for down time. The treatment is combined with the goodness of microdermabrasion to exfoliate the skin, leaving behind baby soft skin that is more receptive to the treatment. Also unique to this treatment is the LED light stimulation that is given at the very end to calm the skin down, relax the facial muscles and alleviate any discomfort or redness. The treatment works to boost collagen production that leaves your face looking fuller, youthful, slowing down the ageing process. This treatment is regarded very highly by dermatologists, beauty specialists and cosmetologists worldwide.

Like every other treatment, this treatment needs between 4-6 sessions every two weeks to see long lasting results. The therapist will recommend that you avoid the sun for 24-48 hours, avoid the use of chlorinated pools, steam and sauna. You should also apply sunscreen 3-4 times a day for days post the treatment. I also think you should go with a soap free face wash and use only natural products for a few days to minimise any irritation or redness.

My experience- I went in for my first session about 3 weeks ago and was very apprehensive because I thought it would hurt. I lay down and the therapist had a look at my skin to determine what serums she would use post the micro channeling. We decided to go with hydration because my face is prone to dryness and flaky skin especially around my nose and forehead. The doctor and therapist both knew that a dose of hydration would make a huge difference to the appearance of the skin around my eyes and my nose. After the face was done, she used the remaining serum on my hands. I expected for it to hurt because the area around the fingers is very bony but the therapists were quick and were very good. I was very impressed with the service and the treatment. After the ritual was over, I was looking at my face in the mirror and was so thrilled to see that there was no redness and instead I had my glow back. My skin looked more even and hydrated and nourished from the inside out. I did not apply any make up for about a fortnight after my treatment except for on one occasion. Going bare faced has never been easier or more fun. I highly recommend this treatment for anyone who wants help with their fine lines, wrinkles, hyper pigmentation and acne scars that just wont budge. I know, 15000 might be a big price to pay but you can work out a package deal with the clinic so you can avail a good discount. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

If you are diabetic or on blood thinners, please inform the doctor beforehand and discuss your medical history and your medication with your therapist before you opt for your treatment. Enjoy the festive season, lovelies. xxxx

P.S- please call the clinic to inform them if you experience any adverse effects like redness, burning or irritation that does not subside 48 hours post treatment. If you have any queries on what products you should use – check in with your therapist. The team is always there to assist you by allaying your fears and answering all your queries.
